In this 4 week workshop you’ll peek inside my painting practice and I’ll show you how I paint impressionistically.

You’ll see from the initial inspirational concept through to the finished paintings, how I create an atmospheric painting which are more of a suggestion of place rather than a true representation.. I’ll share my tips and tricks to how I choose and develop subjects, simplify and abstract detail, create distance and atmosphere and paint softly and subtly to create a calming “whisper” of a scene.

It has taken me a long time to reach this style of painting and to realise that this is the way I love to paint. I’d now like to share this with you and hope you can also enjoy this style of painting.
