This small group, one-day workshop will be held in the village of Tenterden in Kent . I’ll send more location and parking information once you have registered your interest.. Beginners and established artists are welcome and a light lunch will be provided.
First we’ll learn how to paint intuitively and then we’ll work from photos, but all the while keeping it free and loose.
Please email me any questions you have. Please register your interest first before booking so I can establish numbers and then I’ll forward more info about payments and details of the day. I hope you can make it. It will be fun!
In this friendly workshop, I’ll be giving advice and demonstrations on how I approach and paint landscapes. We’ll do some exercises together before taking a break for a light lunch. In the afternoon, we’ll work from photos and I’ll be on hand to help you create a small landscape on a wood panel to take away with you. The focus of the workshop will be to create atmosphere in your work, and to paint with intuition and freedom where possible.

What to bring:
Acrylics and inks will be provided but please bring your own oil paints or watercolours if you prefer to use those. (Please note I’m not a watercolour painter). Remember to bring suitable clothing or aprons. Table easels and drawing boards will be provided
Terms & Conditions/ Cancellation of a workshop
If Heidi Laughton Art need to cancel a workshop for any reason, we will endeavour to change the date to another suitable date for everyone who has booked. If this is not possible, a full refund will be made.
For participants, if you need to cancel your booking, we’ll aim to exchange your workshop for another date wherever possible or offer you a credit for a future course. If we are unable to do this and you are still unable to attend, please give us notice as soon as possible.
If we receive notice within a month of the course date, no refund can be given unfortunately.
If you are able to give notice more than 4 weeks of the course date, we will refund 50% of the course.
Notice given in advance of two months of the course, will be given a full refund. Thank you for your understanding
